Elkton to Zion. This is an often hilly 23 mile ride over rural Cecil County roads, but it manages to bypass a couple of bad hills. Meet at the far back of the parking lot at Vlamis' Liquors at 9:30 AM. Lunch will be the soup and salad bar at Wesley's or you can call ahead with an order. Driving Directions: From Newark, head on Rt. 279 to the second traffic light inside Elkton at Rt. 213. Turn right. The lot is immediately on the left. If coming on I-95 from the north, avoid toll by getting off at Rt. 896 toward Newark, turn left at Rt. 4, then left onto Rt. 2 west, which later becomes 279 toward Elkton. Bring one of your water bottles empty for filling at a public spring not far into the ride.

Wesley's phone number is 410-398-3696, but with an 11:30 arrival, reservations should not be necessary. However, calling to be sure that the hours have not changed would be a good idea. The restaurant only opens at 11 AM so, allowing 1 1/2 hours to get there, a 10 AM or maybe a 9:30 departure is best. The place has a pleasant soup and salad bar, but has other lunch items as well. Copy and print whichever version of the cue sheet that you prefer.
