Rides from Wesley's Restaurant

Wesley's opens at 9 am and we are welcome to park "in front" and to use the bathroom if even some of us will be staying for lunch after the ride. It is good for the leader to go in and say what is happening. Wesley's does not have the fastest lunch service for a group, but it has a splendid soup and salad bar.  The best option if one wants more than just soup and salad is to order a lunch special, which cost just a bit more, but include the soup and salad, so everyone starts eating at once.

To Woodlawn 25 miles

To Nottingham and Rising Sun 27.9 miles makes a brief foray into Pennsylvania.

You can spot the State Line as being where the road deteriorates a bit.

Wesley's to the Herr's Factory (Includes some hills, 22 miles and a one hour tour of the Herr's Plant.

Wesley's to Oxford (31.6 miles) Several serious hills and scenic.

Wesley's to Oxford (30.4 miles) with one less hill.

Avoiding hills. This 21 mile ride has a couple hills, but none that are daunting.

Seriously avoiding hills. This 26 mile ride is not flat, but it pleasantly rolls along.

Directions to Wesley's Restaurant

Near Fair Hill, MD

From the Delaware State line west of Newark on Route 273, , it is 5.9 miles to the restaurant, which is on the left.  Wesley's has a soup and salad bar and it should not be necessary to call ahead to the restaurant, but you should go in and tell the fellow in the liquor store there what you are doing. If even some people will be eating there after the ride, it is okay to park in front toward the east and to use the bathroom. Any of these rides will have some hills, but they are generally not bad, except for some in Pennsylvania.
