Hotel El Amigo,

 Raxrujá, Cancuen ruins, Alta Verapaz, Guatemala

      El Amigo is a very friendly hotel right by downtown Raxrujá. As of February 2007, tiled single rooms with bath cost 60 Q and a larger double was 100 Q.  All of our rooms had a large water dispenser, the place has a pool and the parking area is locked at night. Depending on when you get into town, it is an excellent location to spend the night before or after seeing the Cancuén ruins.

          If you are coming from Sayaxché, it will be on the left just before the T intersection in town.

                                               Owner Tony Lorezano lived in the USA for years before deciding to               

                                             return to the area where most of his family lives and to start this hotel.
